The Museum is the only place in the UK where schools are taught curriculum-based sessions inside a synagogue building (the oldest surviving synagogue building in Manchester, built in 1874).
As the Museum is set inside a synagogue, we offer a unique learning experience, bringing the Jewish religion, Jewish culture and Jewish history to life like no other place in the UK.
Subjects covered in our award-winning sessions include Jewish Religion and Practices, Jewish History, Family Life, the Holocaust, Prejudice and Discrimination*.
The service is in great demand so early booking is essential.

The Museum also offers an outreach service to schools and colleges in Greater Manchester. We can tailor a session to suit your needs, introducing students to Judaism and Jewish History (£150 for half a day; £300 for full day).
