The Museum has collections of objects, documents, photographs and tapes which can be made available to researchers if prior notice is given. Visitors who have items that they think may be of interest to the museum are advised to arrange a suitable time with the curator to bring them in.
The Museum collects documents and interprets material relating to the social, cultural and religious history of Jewish people in the Greater Manchester region, with particular reference to the Cheetham Hill area. The period covered is from the late 18th century to the present day. The Museum assists with many research requests, both from individuals and organisations.
