Duration (1 hour, 45 mins)
Pupils will be shown how to bring in the Jewish New Year by blowing down a ram's horn, a traditional New Year custom. Pupils will take part in a 'mock' Rosh Hashanah service inside Manchester's oldest surviving synagogue and will try on various sacred items of clothing (kippah, tallit, teffilin).
